With 2019 fast approaching, you may be starting to think<br />
of what New Year’s resolutions you’re going to put in place.<br />

new things. And one of the most popular resolutions? Of<br />
course, it’s to get to the gym, eat healthy and lose that<br />
Christmas weight.<br />
Although a gym membership may seem like the ticket to<br />
hitting and maintaining your fitness goals, the actual fact<br />
is that this simply isn’t the best option for many of us. With<br />
today’s busy lifestyles, more and more people are choosing<br />
to train at home. Proving more practical and effective, here<br />
are just a few reasons why…<br />
1. Time is on YOUR side – When you’re a gym<br />
member, you have to fit your regime around opening<br />
hours and equipment availability, not to mention<br />
other gym members! When you have equipment<br />
at home, you can exercise whenever<br />
it suits you. Plus, with no travel to<br />
consider, you can complete your workout<br />
that bit faster.<br />
2. No distractions – When it comes to<br />
working out, most of us just want to get<br />
on and focus. Small talk can be distracting<br />
and annoying. At home,<br />
nobody will disturb you. Plus, you’re always<br />
first in line to your equipment and<br />
you can hog it for as long as you please!<br />
3. Create your own personal<br />
workout haven – When you have your own workout space,<br />
you don’t have to worry about anyone’s needs. You can<br />
set up your equipment exactly how you like, listen to<br />
whatever music you like (as loud as you like), and<br />
you’re in charge of what equipment you have.<br />

brands and know that you’re using<br />
equipment that you trust and will<br />
deliver the best results.<br />
4. Save money – The cost of a gym<br />
membership adds up over time and we<br />
don’t often get the full benefit.<br />
Exercising at home, you can choose key<br />
pieces to suit your budget, which means a<br />
great investment. Once you have what you<br />
need, you can add to your personal collection<br />
as and when you want to. And you don’t have to<br />
spend a fortune either. There are fantastic options<br />
to suit all budgets, as well as plenty of inexpensive<br />
functional pieces that can really complement your<br />
training, such as resistance bands, kettlebells,<br />
dumbbells, and medicine balls.<br />
