Watex, Reinforced Hosing offers<br />
wide range of gardening hoses<br />
Watex reinforced garden hoses are manufactured from virgin raw material, for optimum<br />
strength and durability. The hoses come in the standard 12mm diameter, as well as 20mm<br />
and 25mm.<br />
The hoses are available in<br />
20m and can be custom<br />
ordered to 100m. The<br />
minimum burst pressure of<br />
the hoses is 2 500 kPa.<br />
Watex also supplies a range of Quickclip<br />
fittings that are manufactured from<br />
UV stabilised high quality ABS plastic.<br />
6, 8- and 12-year warrantees<br />
The six-year warrantee hose has a<br />
black inner with ribbed green outer. It<br />
has a burst pressure limit of 3 000kPa<br />
and is available in 12mm and 20mm.<br />
It isavailable in 20m, 25m, 30m, 50m,<br />
and 100m lengths.<br />
The eight-year warrantee hoses are available in three<br />
bright colours: blue, green and pink. They are 12mm in<br />
diameter and 20m in length. They all come with fittings.<br />
The 12-year warrantee hoses have a black inner with<br />
ribbed opaque green outer. They have a burst pressure<br />
of 4 000kPa and are available in 12mm, 20mm and<br />
25mm.<br />
All the hoses are professionally packaged with shrink<br />
wrap and are bar-coded. They are also available with or<br />
without fittings.<br />
Gas Hose<br />
Watex also supplies a gas hose which is also<br />
manufactured from virgin raw material to ensure<br />
the highest quality. It is the WATEX-RMO Orange<br />
Standard Duty LP Gas Hose which can operate under<br />
temperatures from -0°C to +500°C. The hose complies<br />
with SANS 1156-2:2010 certification. There are three<br />
different hoses, the LPG600, the LPG800 and the<br />
LPG1000.<br />
The LPG600 has a nominal inner diameter of 6.3mm,<br />
an outer diameter of 12mm, a working limit of 1 300kPa<br />
and a 5 900kPa burst limit.<br />
The LPG800 has a nominal inner diameter of 8mm, an<br />
outer diameter of 13mm, a working limit of 1 200kPa<br />
and a 5 200kPa burst limit.<br />
The LPG1000 has a nominal inner diameter of 10mm,<br />
an outer limit of 15mm, a working limit of 1 100kPa and<br />
a 4 500kPa.<br />
