2 Sunday, December 16, 2018 Metropolitan Govt, industry, CNG Association have successful talks, resolves gas crisis KARACHI: The government, industry and CNG Association have reached an agreement according to which the crises regarding gas supply to CNG stations in Sindh province would be resolved. In this connection a meeting with the leaders of CNG Association was held at Governor House. The government side comprised of Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan and PTI Sindh’s General Secretary Haleem Adil Sheikh. After the meeting talking to media, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail announced that an agreement has reached between government, industrialists and CNG Association. This three-party agreement has been reached with consensus of all parties and this problem resolved. KU organizing beach cleaning drive By Staff Reporter KARACHI: A beach cleaning drive is organized by the Marine Reference Collection and Resource Center in collaboration with Higher Commission under HEC’s Social Integration Outreach Program. The event will be held on December 16, 2018, at Paradise Point beach, Karachi. The Principal Investigator of the Center, Dr Qadeer Mohammad Ali informed that the beach cleanup campaign focuses on the awareness and involving University’s students and the local community in cleaning coastal areas of Karachi. “It is a tangible activity and brings University’s students and locals together to do something good towards conservation and rehabilitation of beaches which would result in long-term sustainable management.” Dr Ali expressed that beach cleaning campaign is an educational and social program to combat with the problem of trash in our coastal areas.
