PARK RENTALS
Park season is May until October. Public facilities are only
available during this time. Numerous parks are available
for rent for sports activities, picnics, and events. If you require
any of the below special permissions, please indicate what
you require in your initial e-mail to the Central Bookings
Administrator.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL RENTALS
The following details have been complied to assist user groups
with understanding the available amenities and restrictions at all
our municipal facilities. Should you have any questions about the
information contact the Central Bookings Administrator at
prcbookings@porthope.ca.
For all locations:
• When your booking is confirmed, you will be emailed a
reservation permit. Renters are responsible to review the
permit and ensure the dates and times are accurate.
• Payments are due a minimum of 7 days prior to rental
(14 days for a licensed event)
• Set up and clean-up time is included in your rental time.
• Renters typically book a half hour prior and half hour after
their event time
• The renter is responsible for set up and clean up
• Please use painters tape only
• Storage is not available unless space is booked/rented
• Extension cords, cutlery etc. are not provided
• Renters please be mindful of your time.
• Only be in the space for the time booked
• There are usually additional rentals booked both before and
after your time.
• If your rental is outside of normal business hours, the building
will be unlocked at the time of your rental.
• Staff arrive 15 minutes before a rental to complete opening
procedures and are not able to open the building to the public
until these procedures are completed.
• You are expected to finish your clean-up at the stated time on
your rental contract or additional fees will apply.
• It is very important to look over your contract carefully to ensure
you have access to the building when you need it.
• For all large scale events and licensed events a site visit is
required. This site visit is the responsibility of the renter.
Please contact the facility to book your visit.
• Licensed Events: A minimum of 2 weeks prior to a licensed
event items to provide:
• Liquor License
• Copy of insurance naming the Municipality of Port Hope
for 2 million dollars
• List of Smart Serve certified bartenders
• Full payment
• A site visit
