The new Ditchling-based nutritionist and<br />
food psychologist Kale and Cake is hosting<br />
a timely £20 ‘Change Your Eating Mindset’<br />
workshop on Jan 10th (kaleandcake.co.uk). In<br />
<strong>Lewes</strong>, Green Cuisine Trust host a Living<br />
Food workshop on the 30th, and Seven<br />
Sisters Spices an Alchemy of Spice workshop<br />
on the 19th. In Brighton, Wild Cultures<br />
teach how to make fermented food and drink<br />
for healthy digestion (wildcultures.co.uk).<br />
For those who haven’t given up indulgence,<br />
Café du Jardin have a 2-4-1 cocktail happy<br />
hour from 6pm on Friday 4th. On the pop-up<br />
supper circuit, Michelin-trained chef Aaron<br />
Dalton and food writer Gilly Smith host a<br />
fine dining taster menu at home in <strong>Lewes</strong> on<br />
Jan 20th (tickets via wefifo.com).<br />
Cook the Books hosts a free, bring-a-dish<br />
supper celebrating citrus at the <strong>Lewes</strong> Arms<br />
on the 29th. I’m personally hoping to relax by<br />
a fire with the new wild food cookbook by our<br />
local ‘Hunter Gather Cook’ Nick Weston.<br />
