The Story:<br />

This logo was designed for a team in a sailing competition. The<br />

employer had a general vision; from there, <strong>Katie</strong> researched the<br />

competition colors, website, and gathered additional relevant<br />

information to design a high quality clean logo.<br />

The Story:<br />

The employer posted a contest for their new logo with just the<br />

name as the starting point. After researching, the elements of<br />

the new logo emerged. The goal was to design a simply, yet<br />

significant logo. Satisfied with the new logo, the employer<br />

awarded this design 1st place.<br />

The Story:<br />

This client was searching for a text logo for their new app. Taking<br />

a image of the New York City skyline, a custom silhouette icon<br />

was created using Adobe Illustrator. The concept also including<br />

designing the logo in such a way that would be simply to<br />

recreate for other versions of the app in other cities.<br />

The Story:<br />

Located in the the “Brew City”, a custom cutting board<br />

engraver needed a new logo for their website and marketing<br />

material. After researching their website and work, it was<br />

decided to design a logo that visually demonstrated their work.<br />

The Story:<br />

Through the means of a contest, the client awarded this design<br />

1st place for the logo and van design. Based on the obvious heat<br />

versus cold concept, the client was looking for a creative way to<br />

incorporate a custom monkey mascot with the icons.<br />

This branding and packaging design was created for a startup<br />

company who creates homemade therapeutic soaps. Simplicity<br />

was desired for both.<br />

AccuroFit needed to design new packaging for their products.<br />

Custom icons needed to be designed, along with new layouts.<br />

Along with some custom color corrections, the layouts were<br />

designed and layed out in Adobe Illustrator.<br />

The Story:<br />

As they began expanding, AccuroFit needed a modern and<br />

professional cut sheet to share with potential clients and<br />

businesses. Using their provided content and images, the layout<br />

was created to AccuroFit’s needs.<br />

The Story:<br />

A Canadian computer service company needed a brochure<br />

listing all of their services in a clear and organized way.<br />

Creating custom icons to complement the content and using<br />

the provided Word document with the content, the design was<br />

successfully completed.<br />

ARTICLE DESIGN: Financial Advice<br />

The Story:<br />

The author of the article was looking to have his article<br />

designed in a visually appealing way, similar to a magazine<br />

layout. Using purchased stock images, a crisp color scheme,<br />

and an understanding of the article’s content, a fresh layout<br />

was created.<br />

making it mobile friendly. New colors were chosen, and a clean<br />

website be kept on the Weebly platform so they could make<br />
