“In taking Dual Enrollment (DE) courses at Buckingham County High School (BCHS), I was
able to learn and understand what being in a college credit course was like and what would be
expected of me. The courses I took, biology, English and government, gave me a true sense
of collegiate coursework and prepared me in a very paramount way to what was ahead of me
in terms of college. The courses were of no cost to BCHS students, which was certainly not
a hand out, but a hand up into higher education and a great, challenging experience. I’m truly
