THE CRUISE
One of the major characteristics of the SL78
yacht is the significantly enlarged windows that
are placed in both the superstructure and hull.
This allows for more natural light and amicable
sea visibility for guests that could be socialising
in the saloon as well as provide lovely views
from the cabins for who wish for a more private
setting. Not only that, but this yacht also comes
with a spacious lifting aft platform that can
easily accommodate jet skis or other water toys
in addition to the 3.85m tender stored in the
garage.
The SL78 also includes a seamless floor on the
main deck, larger two-meter beds, a beautiful
floating staircase leading from the saloon to
the flybridge, an expansive flybridge with a
glass panelled T-top, extensive seating areas
in the cockpit, saloon and sundeck. As usual,
the SL78 also comes with signature interior
design personalised by Sanlorenzo to give each
individual yacht its own unique character.
There are two available options in terms of
interior layouts for the SL78. The first option
has the galley on the main deck whilst the other
sees the galley on the lower deck, neighbouring
the crew quarters. The second option grants the
layout an even larger guest and entertainment
area on the main deck whilst keeping the lower
deck entirely private for the owner’s living
space.
On a more technical side, the SL78 is fitted
with the larger of two engine options which
are the twin 1,622hp MTU V10s on V drives.
The top recorded speed of the yacht is over
28 knots which were during its sea trial. It
also is comfortable cruising in the mid-20s.
Sanlorenzo also installed a hydrodynamic hull
to optimise speeds and reduce fuel consumption.
Additionally, a floating floor was designed to
minimise noise and vibration on top of utilising
high tech resin infusions of both the hull and
superstructure to maximise the best build quality
as well as weight control.
All in all, this beautiful yacht can promise to
cruise up a comfortable and exciting experience,
whatever the purpose of the voyage. This new
