YEAR IN PHOTOS EDITION
It’s hard to believe that 2019 is here. We are
sorry to say goodbye to 2018, as it was a
great year for the Bannerville and School
Spirit Lab teams. We are, however, excited
about the challenges that 2019 will bring.
We continued to expand our product line in
2018. Back in 2005, we were almost exclusively
a banner company, with banner production
representing 66% of our revenue. In 2018,
that percentage came down to 53%.
Much of this change occurred because we
listened to the needs of our customers. One
customer in 2005 asked if we could print
school yard signs. We listened, and today
yard signs are 1.5% of our business. Another
customer in 2007 asked if we could make
three dimensional signs for their office. Again,
we listened to our customer’s need, and today
produce dimensional signage for many clients,
including a national chain of chiropractic
offices.
The two examples above represent the
essence of our business – wanting to assist all
of you in branding your identity in the best
way we can.
One of our biggest growth areas in 2018
occurred in our design department. Our
talented team of graphic artists not only
designed many great projects, but they also
helped many customers with logo and brand
development. Check out some of these
projects inside this edition.
We truly love our interaction with all of our
customers. We want to build long lasting
relationships, and we want you to know that
you can trust us to give you the best we have
to offer.

VISION: Independant Senior Living
GOAL: Their previous logo needed an update so we helped
them create a modern brand.

BRAND: Old Town Red Hots
VISION: Bringing the nostalgia of a big city hotdog cart to
downtown Western Springs.
BRAND: Snowflake Healing
VISION: Fully stocked metaphysical shop
GOAL: Pamela wanted to honor
her Grandma Snow and carry on
her empathy and sincere love.
BRAND: Bluesky Homecare
VISION: Offer excellent and affordable homecare to
individuals and families and in the process help brighten
each and every one of their days.
BRAND: Three Hangers
VISION : Wardrobe Curator
GOAL: Samantha wasn’t in love with her previous logo and
wanted something new. We created this new classic logo
that incorporates the services her
business offers.
BRAND: New Trier Bean Team
GOAL: The Students at New Trier opened a new coffee bar
called The Bean Team. They wanted a logo that
incorporated their current school logo and, of course,
coffee!
