WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO MODEL<br />
FOR THIS PHOTO SHOOT?<br />
Caitl<strong>in</strong>: My best friend <strong>and</strong> current bridesmaid, M<strong>and</strong>y, was<br />
a <strong>Real</strong> <strong><strong>Wedd<strong>in</strong>g</strong>s</strong> real bride model a few years ago. She had<br />
such a wonderful experience, so she strongly suggested<br />
I apply. I also was a fan <strong>of</strong> this magaz<strong>in</strong>e prior to my<br />
experience. I love how helpful <strong>Real</strong> <strong><strong>Wedd<strong>in</strong>g</strong>s</strong> is as well as<br />
how it showcases beautiful <strong>and</strong> au<strong>the</strong>ntic women.<br />
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THIS SHOOT?<br />
DID YOU RELATE TO THE CONCEPT?<br />
C: It was dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> fake cocktail <strong>in</strong> front <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> fire.<br />
It truly felt like a Carrie Bradshaw moment. My second<br />
favorite part was eat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> sea-salt caramels made by<br />
chef Jeanette from Ris<strong>in</strong>g Simplicity. Jeanette was like<br />
my second mom grow<strong>in</strong>g up, so it was fun see<strong>in</strong>g her<br />
<strong>the</strong>re <strong>and</strong> eat<strong>in</strong>g her caramels. I didn’t relate to this<br />
concept, because how opposite it is to my upcom<strong>in</strong>g<br />
wedd<strong>in</strong>g—we won’t be gett<strong>in</strong>g married at a hotel <strong>in</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> city or dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g by a fireplace—but, it was such<br />
a beautiful shoot <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> team did an amaz<strong>in</strong>g<br />
job...it was such a fun experience!<br />
IF YOU COULD OFFER ANY ADVICE<br />
TO FUTURE NEWLYWEDS-TO-BE,<br />
WHAT WOULD IT BE?<br />
C: Enjoy every m<strong>in</strong>ute <strong>of</strong> it. Soak it up<br />
before <strong>the</strong> engagement season is<br />
gone. Stay present <strong>and</strong> practice selfcare.<br />
F<strong>in</strong>ally, don’t forget to show<br />
gratitude to your fiancé, family<br />
<strong>and</strong> friends; <strong>the</strong>y are <strong>in</strong> it for <strong>the</strong><br />
long haul. From my experience,<br />
I couldn’t survive this season<br />
without <strong>the</strong>m. (I also couldn’t<br />
survive it without b<strong>in</strong>ge<strong>in</strong>g<br />
