About the project<br />

Our project borns from the need to help pupils with special needs to<br />

know better themselves, learn to communicate also with symbols,<br />

images, AAC, ecc., and use technological devices.<br />

They will create a portfolio, entitled “Puzzle of my Appearance” . They<br />

start from the knowledge of themselves, working to the completion<br />

of an Identity card, describing their daily routine, their interests, their<br />

talents, their diet, taking photos of their school. They also reflect on<br />

their diet, learn to distinguish health and unhealth food, create an<br />

healthy food market toy.<br />

Then they take photos of all the activities of the portfolio and share<br />

them with partner students.<br />

Finally they describe a friend partner of another country.


AIMS<br />

They will develope a better knowledge of themselves, their life, their<br />

interests, their talents, their world, their diet.<br />

They will learn to distinguish healthy and unhealthy food and to choose<br />

a better lifestyle.<br />

They will learn to communicate with several ways, not only with words.<br />

They will learn to create a portfolio and document their works.


WORK PROCESS<br />

We and our partners communicate every week with whatsapp, using<br />

twinspace.<br />

Every month students will realize an activities: on december students<br />

create the logo of the project and a portfolio entitled “Puzzle of my<br />

Appearance”. On jenuary they present themselves completing an identity<br />

card and describe their daily routine, interests and talents with pictures,<br />

symbols,AAC, etc. On february students reflect on their daily diet and<br />

distinguishes healthy and unhealthy food.<br />

They create a Minimarket toy of only healthy food. On march pupils draw<br />

and take photos of their school, print them and insert them in the portfolio.<br />

On april Pupils take photos of all of the Porfolio activities. Create a video with<br />

them and share with the partners. on may Every student describes a partner<br />

student, “writing” with pictures, singing a song, drawing or creating an<br />

identity card


EXPECTED RESULTS<br />

Students will create a portfolio and a description of an other partner<br />

student
