conduct a short-eared owl
watch at Orland Grassland.
This is the time of year shorteared
owls return south for
the winter. The best time
to look for them is at sunset.

the Orland Grassland Volunteers
leading the watch.
Participants are encouraged
to dress for the weather
(hats and gloves are suggested)
and to wear shoes

should bring binoculars, a
flashlight and a camera for
sunset photo opportunities.
