What is one essential you
must have when studying?
One essential I always
have while studying is my
speaker or phone to play
music. Playing music while
doing my homework is key
to help me zone in and focus.
There is one album in
particular called deep focus
on Spotify, which is the one I
always listen to while studying.
What do you like to do when
not in school or studying?

While I am not in school
or studying, you can find me
playing volleyball or hanging
out with my friends and
family. Sports and friends/
family are both very important
to me; and to spend
as much time doing what I
love, with the people that I
love, is the greatest feeling,
especially before I go off to
college.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to be a
broadcaster on television
one day, while working up
toward producing my own
TV show.
What are some of your most
played songs on your iPod?
Some of my most played
songs are “P.Y.T.” by Michael
Jackson, “Body” by
Loud Luxury and “I’m Upset”
by Drake. Personally, I
like to listen to all different
types of music.
What is one thing people
don’t know about you?
One day, my sister kept
doing somersaults in the
pool while holding onto my
arm. When it was my turn,
she could not do the same
because her arm couldn’t
spin around all the way.
Moreover, this was when
I found out I was doublejointed
in both of my arms.
Whom do you look up to and
why?
My role model is my sister,
Taylor. She is one to
constantly push and strive
to knock down her goals
while always having a smile
on her face in doing so. Not
only is she determined, but
also very humble. Whenever
she accomplishes something
great, she never once boasts
about it, which I believe is
extremely admirable.
Who is your favorite teacher
and why?
I cannot choose between
Mr. Young and Mrs. Scott
because both teachers represent
Andrew wholeheartedly
with their positivity and
connection with students.
Both always have a smile on
their face and uplift every
student who walks into their
class. They make class fun
and lighthearted, while also
teaching us in a variety of
fun, cool ways.
What’s your favorite class
and why?
My favorite class is AP
Psychology. Mrs. Scott
teaches us not only the criteria
needed, but also valid
life lessons and experiences
we may go through. She also
expresses to us self-love and
key tips in handling school,
or ways to cope with certain
struggles, like stress. Her
positive vibes always offer a
stress-free zone, which is always
needed during school.
What’s one thing that stands
out about your school?
The unity within my
school stands out above everything
else. Andrew is one
big happy family who supports
every person, club and/
or sport. Also, Andrew offers
students of all different
interests to find their niche
and create an awesome high
school experience.
What extracurricular(s) do
you wish your school had?
Andrew offers such a variety
of extracurriculars;
therefore, all the activities I
would attend are already established.
If you could change one thing
about school what would it
be?
I would change the start
time of school to 9:30 a.m.
everyday, if I could. I am not
a morning person; therefore,
waking up at 6:30 a.m. everyday
is quite the hassle.
What’s your favorite thing
to eat in the cafeteria?
My favorite item to eat in
the cafeteria is definitely the
potato bowls or homemade
cookies.
What’s your best memory
from school?
My best memories are my
years spent playing volleyball
at Andrew. My team and
I broke new records, made
unforgettable memories and
I created everlasting friendships.
I will never forget the
bus ride jams or crazy pasta
parties with my team. We
were not only a team, but a
family.
