Basic Electrical Safety Tips
Check the products are approved by a reputed consumer laboratory, having
proper electrical safety tips and warnings to ensure your well-being.
Unplug unused appliances to save power and to be safe. Put unused
cords safely out of the reach of children, and pets to avoid an accident.
Let air circulate around the appliances such as clocks, computer monitors as
they generate heat. Overheated appliances should be given space and
turned-off to cool off.
Continuously follow instructions given by the professionals for safe and
optimum use of the appliance.
Always touch appliances with dry hands and by wearing plastic footwear.
Frequently check cords for any cranks, and splints before each use. In a
commercial electrical setup, employees exposed to electricity should have
proper electrical safety training to be aware of electrical tips and to avoid
potential electrical accidents.
