A letter to daddy…..
Dear Daddy:
As I sit down to write you this letter, tears are
constantly flowing. All I can think about is when I
was growing up, even though you were my
father and my hero, I always felt like I had to
protect you, and for as long as I can remember
up until the day you took your last breath, I still
felt like I needed to protect you. Daddy I am
going to miss your loud laughs and your
beautiful smile. Make sure you hug my momma,
the love of your life. I’ll make sure I keep Detra
in line, along with your grand kids. Thank you for
teaching us to stick together, taking us around
our relatives and allowing us to grow up with
them (sometimes I think they don’t realize we’re
adults now, especially auntie Rhonda lol). Daddy
you will always be remembered I will make sure
of that. You can rest easy now, no more
suffering, btw cancer didn’t win, you did! Uncle
Eddie said he will make sure he looks after us, I
think he’s more like our brother, than our uncle!
Lol Daddy I will never forget you, fly on my angel I love you, always and forever!
Your baby girl and your protector “Tonya”
