To our fundraising auction of pledges and promises.
Firstly thank you for coming and we hope you will
go home with a lighter pocket but having had a
“fun evening” with like-minded supporters of the
Derbyshire Air Ambulance.
Our fundraising year is reaching its climax. We have
already exceeded our initial expectation so may be
our “wildest dream” of £25,000, to celebrate 25 years
of business, is possible after all.
Our thanks again to all who have supported our
efforts to date and particularly to those who have
so kindly donated to tonight’s sale. We hope it will
be a huge success.

Every day of the year, Derbyshire,
Leicestershire & Rutland Air
Ambulance is helping save lives.
Our critical care paramedics, trauma
doctors and pilots fly an average
of three rescue missions a day.
The charity receives no government
funding and we rely entirely on
donations to raise the £1,700 we
need for each rescue mission.

Within minutes they can be on the ground
delivering lifesaving care at road traffic collisions,
sports events, and industrial accidents or for
medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest,
stroke or accidents in the home.
The air ambulance gives people the very best
chance of survival and recovery. Our helicopter
can fly at 185mph and carries the very latest
lifesaving equipment. Our air ambulance team is
also supported by a rapid response vehicle, which
provides valuable backup for incidents close to the
helicopter base or when the weather makes it just
too dangerous to fly.
In addition, the charity has set up a new nationwide
Children’s Air Ambulance service to fly critically ill
children to specialist hospitals across the country.
Local babies have already benefitted from this
service, where time saved can mean a life saved.
We’d like to thank Fidler Taylor for the tremendous

25 years in business celebrations, as well as all
of their customers and clients who have
supported them.

• Bidding Numbers are required to bid. Registration on entry (£5 per couple).
• Your bidding number will automatically include you in a free Champagne Raffle.
• Commission/proxy bids maybe left with the Auctioneers up to half an hour before bidding starts.
• Only a small number of items are available to take away “on the night”. Successful bidders will be given a voucher
to redeem with our donors on other lots.
• Full payment on the night in cash/cheque/debit card (credit cards with 3% surcharge).
• No buyers premium but “rounding up” donations always welcome!!
• The Auctioneers and organisers accept no liability for non-take up or errors and omissions – it is a charity sale
