Lockport Police Department Feb. 13 • Tatiana McCormick, 32, of the 1200 block of Jackson Street in Joliet, was charged with driving with a suspended license after the vehicle she was allegedly driving was stopped on 151st Street. Feb. 10 • Personal belongings were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 16000 block of Teton Drive between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. Feb. 8 • Carlos Soto, 49, of the 1300 block of Wellwood Drive in Lockport, was charged with driving while license suspended, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after the vehicle he was allegedly driving was stopped on State Street. Feb. 5 • Loose change was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot on the 100 block of W. 13th Street between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 4 • Ray Ramos, 42, of the 600 block of Otis Avenue in Rockdale, was charged with driving while license suspended and improper display of registration after the vehicle he was allegedly driving was stopped on Bruce Road. Feb. 3 • Norma Cabrera-Soto, 45, of the 100 block of Mississippi Street in Joliet, was charged with driving with no valid driver’s license, no rear registration plate light and loud exhaust after the vehicle she was allegedly driving was stopped on State Street. Will County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 1 • A 2018 Polaris RZR all-terrain vehicle, 3,500 watt generator, 2004 Yamaha Banchie ATV, 2016 Polaris RZR ATV, Yamaha S2000 generator and miscellaneous riding gear was reported stolen from two trailers on the 3100 block of Canal Street. A lock was cut to the gate surrounding the property where the trailers were located, police added. Goodings Grove students will have a lot more fairytales — and mysteries, biographies, novels, etc. — in their future, as the Daddy Daughter Dance also served as a fundraiser for the PTO, which is raising money for the school’s library in 2019. “We’re really looking to update the books in our library, so a lot of the funds we’re raising this year as a PTO are going towards the library,” Wiggins said. The Goodings Grove PTO has a lot more fun in store this year, including a Family Fitness Night on April 12. The event will feature local fitness studios, gyms, instructors and vendors sharing information on health and wellness.
