A great way to help you get fit is to start<br />

running. Compared to other exercises<br />

like the stationary bike or the elliptical,<br />

running tends to burn far more calories.<br />

You can run on a treadmill or on a track<br />

if you can find one. Avoid running on<br />

concrete though.


Do not rely on a fitness routine that<br />

requires extensive equipment.<br />

leaves one at the mercy of the<br />

The savvy fitness enthusiast will have<br />

a varied exercise program that<br />

includes plenty of exercises that can<br />

breakdown of one’s overall fitness<br />

You can get up a hill much faster on<br />

your mountain bike if you lean a bit<br />

more forward in your saddle. This will<br />

cause your weight to shift and to be<br />

more even front to back. If you lean too<br />

far back, you will start to lift off the<br />

ground and if you’re too far forward,<br />

you can lose traction on the rear tire.


Instead of just doing as many crunches<br />

as you can, try doing some sit ups in<br />

your routine. Sit ups work your entire<br />

core and give you a better range of<br />

motion to work out, while crunches and<br />

other abdominal workouts, only target<br />

your abdominal muscles and not your<br />

core.

important to understand that as we age<br />

it becomes harder to maintain your<br />
