2018 was the year of <strong>IT</strong> job market<br />

metamorphosis. <strong>2019</strong> will be the<br />

year of its evolution.<br />

Ever since the <strong>IT</strong> revolution has hit the economies, industries have changed radically.<br />

Roles that had never existed previously now dominate the job market. A changing job<br />

market means new challenges and greater responsibilities for HR and talent<br />

management professionals. New technologies like Data Science, Articial Intelligence<br />

and Blockchain are placing excessive demands on recruiters. The demand for skilled<br />

professionals is staggering and hiring managers are battling to ll crucial vacancies.<br />

Business challenges moved many notches up and sustainability is not the prime issue<br />

anymore; the prime issue now is sustenance. This factsheet attempts to understand the<br />
