Quality from the inventor – our history<br />

The <strong>Develey</strong> company was founded by Johann<br />

Conrad <strong>Develey</strong> in 1845 in the city center of<br />

<strong>Munich</strong>, Germany. Nine years later, in 1854, he<br />

invented the Original <strong>Munich</strong> Sweet Mustard.<br />

In 1873 Johann Conrad <strong>Develey</strong> received an<br />

award of progress at the world exhibition in<br />

Vienna and is named purveyor to the court of<br />

King Ludwig II one year later.<br />

Our mustard from <strong>Develey</strong> almost has as<br />

Johann Conrad’s Potato salad<br />

with mustard vinaigrette<br />

Ingredients<br />

1 onion, diced<br />

500 ml vegetable broth<br />

1 kg boild, peeled potatoes (still warm)<br />

100 g rocket salad<br />

Sweet & Medium Hot<br />

Mustard Vinaigrette<br />

100 ml sunflower oil<br />

1 tbsp spirit vinegar<br />

1 tbsp <strong>Develey</strong> Sweet Mustard<br />

1 tbsp <strong>Develey</strong> Medium Hot Mustard<br />

Salt, black pepper<br />

Preparation<br />

✓ Cook the onion cubes softly in the broth. Set aside to cool.<br />

✓ Cut the potatoes into slices about ½ cm thick and add them to the broth.<br />

✓ Put salt, pepper, vinegar to your own taste, as well as the two types of<br />

mustard. Add oil and stir until lightly creamy, season to taste.<br />

✓ Finally, add the rocket over the salad.<br />

✓ Also perfect as a side dish next to every kind of meat.<br />

✓ Typical food: pork roast, grilled chicken,<br />

sausages, mustard & Sauerkraut.<br />
