CHILDREN’S RACES
Every year Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon
holds races for the youngest participant —
Kid’s Run. This year children’s races
will take place at VDNG on April 6.
This year we signed a cooperation
memorandum with the Ministry of
education and science of Ukraine, which
made it possible to have participation
in children’s races within Run Ukraine
Running League 2019 free of charge.
Kid’s Run is a perfect opportunity to
encourage young athletes to participate
in serious competitions and give
them a chance to compete with their
peers. This is a chance for kids to test
themselves and get their first big victory!
This year young athletes can
can choose a course according
to their age group:
• 100 m (for children 3–6 years old)
• 400 m (7–8 years old)
• 800 m (9–10 years old)
• 1500 m (11–12 years old)
Each participant of this race
will get a finisher’s medal.
On this day there will also be
a Family Walk of 1000 m, and
whole families can take part in it,
since there is no age limit, you can
even run with kids in strollers.
