OPTICAL BEARING DEVICE<br />

Combine our <strong>Optical</strong> <strong>Bearing</strong> <strong>Device</strong> (<strong>OBD</strong>) with your ECDIS<br />

and make fast and accurate Position Fixes, independently of the GPS.<br />

Detect GPS spoofing, jamming or other disturbances.<br />

The <strong>Optical</strong> <strong>Bearing</strong> <strong>Device</strong> is an effective navigation aid, especially<br />

when navigating in narrow waters and at high speed.


OPTICAL BEARING DEVICE<br />

Position fixes created with the <strong>OBD</strong> are much faster and results in a<br />

much more accurate position estimate than the laborious procedures<br />

used with conventional bearing device.<br />

The resulting Estimated Position (EP) is automatically logged in<br />

the ECDIS Log-Book, meeting vetting and IMO requirements for<br />

independent position fixes.<br />
