<strong>Stratford</strong>-upon-Avon - a haven for culture vultures, Shakespeare<br />
aficionados, and motor enthusiasts!<br />
<strong>Stratford</strong> <strong>Festival</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Motoring</strong> is back for its seventh year. This year we are matching owner<br />
to engine as they dress in the national costume <strong>of</strong> their car’s manufacturer or an outfit that<br />
matches the year <strong>of</strong> the car’s production.<br />
The festival returns on Sunday 5th May and Bank Holiday Monday 6th May, bringing<br />
petrolheads to the historic streets <strong>of</strong> <strong>Stratford</strong> for a showcase <strong>of</strong> vehicles from classic cars<br />
to modern-day motors.<br />
Participants will take part in tours through our surrounding countryside before parking<br />
up in the town centre where visitors can feast their eyes on more than 300 vehicles. The<br />
Mini, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, is taking centre stage, with one <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Stratford</strong>’s streets renamed ‘Issigonis Alley’ in honour <strong>of</strong> its creator Alec Issigonis. There is<br />
also the annual prize-giving, with awards going to entrants for their fancy dress.<br />
On top <strong>of</strong> all the car craziness, there will be demonstrations,<br />
food, drink and live music and family-friendly entertainment,<br />
all set against the backdrop <strong>of</strong> <strong>Stratford</strong>’s many attractions,<br />
shops, bars and restaurants.<br />
The festival is funded by over 420 fantastic town<br />
