Whlle Kerrigan is the owner, driver and money man, the car is not without a voice. Canadian Rick Staples built the car for speed and safety. Sitting on a square tube race chassis with a 10 pt cage is a 3” chopped Scott Rods race body. A 383 c.i. Chevy with AFR 210 heads, a comp soilid roller, .639 lift cam, Eagle rods, Wirsco pistons, Scat crankshaft, on the inside, is topped with a Weiand Hi-Ram tunnel ram with dual 660 squiirters. Power is transferred to the Hoosier rubber mounted on Rodlite wheels through a Turbo 400 with a Neil Chance 4500 stall converter to a Moser 9”, 4.86 gears rearend, to wheel spinning 33 spline Moser axles.
