EVOLVE.
We live in a time of constant change but it is bewildering that human
nature, our body, has hardly evolved within the last 150 000 years.
Our environment and technologies have downright drastically changed in
the last 100 years. The fast changes of the digital age influence our life
enormously.
The internet provides us with more and more information about our fellow
human beings, human behaviour and our possibilities. This always results
in deeper and previously unprotected interventions in our private lives but
also presents opportunities as never before in human history for personal
development.
Social media will play even a more important role in our future. Accordingly
more products or collections are developed with the claim that they
optimally present themselves in this media and market. The digital world
with its “like” and “sharing” possibilities influences the success of a product
and continuously creates new trends.
The time of change has come and the beaten paths of the same designs
are over. EVOLVE - describes the trend of the trends: “Keep evolving!”
Digital technology does constantly evolve with new findings and
innovations. This also affects the AI (Artificial Intelligence).
Artificial intelligence is working increasingly more in areas of our daily lives
without us even perceiving it and will be smarter than us in the future.
NATURTEC.
The days are over when environmentally conscious people and providers
of state-of-the-art technologies have to go their separate ways. After all,
technological innovations offer attractive answers to the question of how
we can protect our nature. Of course, this also applies to interior design.
Attractive green spaces within ultra-modern buildings provide the perfect
climate for working, exercising or relaxing. But it is not just a harmonious
coexistence. It is precisely these technological innovations that have
initiated and continue to drive ongoing research in the organic sector.
Accordingly, NATURTEC combines technology with nature. In this
decoration universe we find in addition to recycled materials, natural
textiles and wood. Wood appears with a more calm optical focus: oak and
ash in natural light tones and with natural imperfections. It’s a simple clear
interior design style that finds its inspiration in nature and in design of the
mid-century, but also in the futuristic ambience of science fiction movies.
Wood decors may also be restrained and neutral. In the NATURTEC
universe, wood can also only be the inspiration for a décor and underline
the attractiveness of transformed or digitally altered wood decors.
CODIVERSITY.
The world is growing together today, providing even more diversity. For
there are always new combinations of once separate cultures. This gives
products and interiors a multicultural global style. The increase in the
number of “modern nomads” also ensures this. A multitude of young
people are willing to work far away from home in a foreign culture. When
they return, they bring new design ideas back to their homeland. Migrants
also provide unpredicted links between cultures.
CODIVERSITY brings the whole world into your own home. Cultural
influences, especially from countries or parts of the southern hemisphere,
inspire here. This trend shows cultural hybridity and creates multiplicity in
design. New design ideas express creativity, energy and the mix of the
conventional and the unconventional. This look is young, colourful,
sometimes loud and for sure never boring. It creates completely
unexpected combinations: the decors in the wood range bribe us with their
warm rich brown tones. There is a lot of colour play which is rich in contrast.
Walnuts or classic tropical woods fit perfectly and might also show some
rustic effect. Also in demand are fantasy decors that capture the “spirit” of
the tropics.
SOULIFE.
The spa is the inspiration for creating time and space for more peace and
relaxation. If we want to maintain our powers and mental abilities in a
constantly evolving society, our need for relaxation and deceleration also
increases. The gaze then turns inwards in search of spirituality. Asian Zen
Buddhism might help to nourish our soul and calm our minds.
SOULIFE ensures that we can relax and unwind in our own four walls.
Muted light and dark colours, soft fabrics, soft textures fulfill the desire for
peace and quiet combined with elegance and exclusivity. We find here authentic
marble and stone decors but also calm fantasy decors with Asian
influences to create flow, rhythm and contrast. At the same time, the
reduction to what is really necessary completes our motto: “Less is more”,
so that we are able find inner peace at home and feel well.
THENEXT.
Increasingly more people spend a large part of their lives online.
As a result, our daily lives and thus our society has radically changed. Our
physical world connects to the digital world. Basically, every seemingly real
picture or even filmed situation could have been altered virtually or could
be completely virtually created. Digital technology is so advanced that the
difference between reality and virtual “reality” is getting smaller and
smaller. A recently developed mobile phone has the ability to virtual games
in 3D projections. The player is now proverbial and visually “in” the game.
This development leads to a corresponding living environment. THENEXT
already gives as a style direction with a view of the home of tomorrow.
Minimalist facilities, futuristic and intelligent. By “intelligent” it is meant
the mechanization of the living space: from the voice-controlled lamp to
the “intelligent” refrigerator, which automatically orders the required food
online. This living universe inspires fantasy decors with cool metallic effects
and techno fabric structures. Particularly interesting here is the reflection
of light and a colouring that is almost artificial and sometimes translucent.
