War of the Roses
Living History Weekend
Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 May,
10am-5pm
Meet the members of the Oxford
and Stanley households who will be
camping in our Ambion Arena for
the weekend. See combat sessions,
bill drills, armour talks and much
more. £2 per person, under 3s free.
Guided Walks
May 18, 19, 25 & 26
June 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23,
29 & 30. 11.30am and 2pm
Join our experienced guide for a 2km
guided walk exploring the Battle of
Bosworth, the death of King Richard
III and the unlikely victory of Henry
Tudor. Adult £4.50, concession £4,
child £3, family tickets available.
In the Footsteps of
Richard III Walk
Saturday 18 May, 9.30am-
1.30pm
Visit the sites where King Richard III
stayed and prayed before the Battle
of Bosworth in August 1485.
Enjoyable 4-hour walk (approx 6km)
with our experienced guide. No dogs
allowed due to livestock along the
route. Adult £9, concession £8, child
(8-16) £6. Pre-booking essential.

Medieval Party Hunt
Saturday 25 May
Explore the Heritage Centre and
Country Park to find everything you
need to have a rocking medieval
party. Return your completed form
to earn your reward. £2 per child.
Storytelling Through
the Exhibition
Wednesday 29 May
11am-12noon & 2-3pm
Come and explore our awardwinning
exhibition through the eyes
of a Tudor peasant who witnessed
the Battle of Bosworth. Normal
admission charges apply.
Plant Hunter’s Fair
Saturday 8 June, 10am-4pm
Many stalls from top nurseries in
our Ambion Arena, with something
special for every garden. £1 per
person, under 16s go free. Pay and
display parking charge applies.
Vintage & Handmade Festival
Saturday 30 June, 10am-4pm
Celebrating all things vintage and
handmade. Local traders, craft, local
produce and antiques will all be on
offer on stalls in the Heritage Room,
Ambion Arena and our Cabins. £2
per person, Car parking £2.50.
Bosworth Discovery Zone
Come and explore our new family area, for
children aged 0-8 years and their families.
Join in and take part in a range of exciting
activities to create memorable experiences.

Marvellous Medicine Hunt

Pick up a sheet from the ticket
office and explore the House and
Gardens to find the wonderful
herbs and remedies that were
used in the 17th century. Normal

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

If you go down to our house and
gardens today, you’re sure of a big
surprise as today’s the day the
teddy bears have their picnic! Bring
your own bear and join in the fun!

Morris Dancing
& Mummers Play
Sunday 2 June, 2-4pm
Dolphin Morris will be dancing in
our beautiful garden as well as
performing a short play that shows
the trial of six Morris dancers who
were tried and found guilty by a
Puritan Church court of “profaning
the Sabbath” by dancing on
Sunday in 1618.
Included in
normal admission
