SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES <strong>2020</strong><br />
Staff it with trained crisis counsellors €50,000<br />
Mostly we will be able to access volunteer counsellors and therapists in the local area where the<br />
counselling centre travels to, but in urgent cases or emergencies then we will be able to staff the<br />
vehicle with trained crisis counsellors. Staffing will be based on 12 month contracts with two full<br />
time counsellors at €50,000 per annum.<br />
Be a rapid response unit to provide fast support to teenagers at high risk of suicide €10,000<br />
The counselling resource centre is mobile and so will be able to go to schools and colleges as part of<br />
our Schools Programme to provide immediate on-site support. However the centre can also be<br />
moved to support schools or local communities where there is a teenager in crisis very quickly. We<br />
estimate that the running costs of the counselling centre will be around 0.42c per kilometre. Based<br />
on our average travel for school visits this would be in the region of 24,000 kilometres per year, so<br />
around €10,000.<br />

Schools Programme Literature €10,000<br />
This is the literature given out in each school in our Programme to students and teachers. In <strong>2020</strong><br />
we will be working with around 140 secondary schools across the country and reaching 16-18,000<br />
students directly. We will also be providing around 140 Teachers’ packs for each school.<br />
Materials can be branded with sponsor’s logo and include a foreword or support letter. The materials<br />
are given directly to students in the age range 16-21 being transition, 5 th and 6 th years as well as 1 st<br />
and 2 nd year students in third level education.<br />

Schools & College Awareness Packs <strong>2020</strong> €9,800<br />
Every August we send out Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention packs to all 780<br />
secondary schools and 130 third level colleges in the country for the start of the new academic year.<br />
Materials can include a foreword or support letter. The<br />
packaging, materials and posters can all be branded with<br />
sponsor’s logo. The School and College Awareness packs are<br />
dispatched in late August just before the new academic year.<br />
Sponsors may wish to host the media launch.<br />
