Some of best selling games of 2018 were games with historical influences inside them. Makes learning history fun. The reason why is the games have fun gameplay and stories mixed with history elements teaching you something that you may have never known going into it. From my experiences with games like these, I had been able to learn from those games and use that information in my social studies class becoming a useful asset for me. The Misconceptions of video games. Some people think that all video games make you stupid and are a waste of time. Except they haven't even played all of them but are just making it up so they could create controversy. Most games have some elements that you can learn from making you a little bit smarter in the process. It’s not going to teach you everything. Even though you have learned much from these games they won’t teach you everything. You will still need to pay attention in class and try your best you should be able to balance that out so you can be successful at school and be able to play video games and learn from them.
