I was at Cedar Point
whether to go on the
my head that not a lot of
The Top 5

This will take you on a journey from Star Wars to The Titanic. So
grab some popcorn and take a seat because we are about to go
through the top five moves of our century!
5. The Lord of the Rings is a film series of
three epic fantasy adventure films
directed by Peter Jackson. The Lord of
The Rings is considered one of the best
movies of our time. It was originally
written in 1948, but later produced into a
movie. There are three books and movie
that have been produced. Each movie
makes about $970 million apiece. The
three movies that have been produced
are The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship
of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings The
Return of the King, and The Lord of the
Rings: The Two Towers. The Lord of the
Rings is a classic struggle between good
and evil. This universal theme is obvious
as Frodo seeks to destroy Evil, and Evil
seeks to destroy Frodo. There are many
pairs of characters representing good
and evil: Saruman, Gandalf, Sauron, and
Tom Bombadil.
Star Wars has been one of the most
popular movies ever since it came out. In
the movie Luke Skywalker joins forces
with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee
and two droids to save the galaxy from the
Empire's world-destroying battle station,
while also attempting to rescue Princess
Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader.
There is no wonder this movie is so
popular, just the theme is enough to
intrigue anyone. The numbers are so crazy
that about that about 90% of the US has
seen at least one of the films. Star Wars is
the second highest grossing film of all time.
A New Hope's revenue is $840 million (Not
including the other movies). There have
been new Star Wars movies released not to
long ago, "The Force Awakens" (2015),
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (2016), and
you only have 4 hours to ride rides. Which
ones are the best to go on? There are many
exciting rides to go one but one of the best is
km/h). Are you ready to spin, twist, and
turn?
Did You Know
The tallest roller coaster in the world is
the Kingda Ka in Six flags at 456 ft tall. The Top
Because the Top Thrill Dragster is a vertical
roller coaster it is not the longest; however, the
longest roller coaster is the Steel Dragon in
Nagashima, Kuwana, Mie, Japan. The Top Thrill
Dragster can go from 0 to 120 mph in 4
seconds.
The growing sport of triathlon is one of the
hardest endurance sport. Few athletes are
addicted to the pain. However, for one 12
year old triathlete who is ranked one in
Cincinnati, the pain is all he knows. Here is
his 2018 training schedule.

The Olympic is the ultimate goal for most athletes in the
competitive world. Athletes will train their entire life for the
olympics, and most of them will not even get the chance to
compete. But the idea of having a solid gold medal hanging
around the neck is enough to keep them going.

at the first olympic
games in 1896 the
event winner would
be crowned with a
olive wreath and wear
silver medal around
there neck.

Imagine that you have been
pushing yourself to the limits for
the past two hours and you are on
the verge of passing out from
straight exhaustion. You are trying
to find the courage to keep going
but the daunting thought of a
marathon still to come it still
spinning in your head as you come
into the transition. You slide your
bike in the stand, throw your helmet
in the bin, pull your running shoes
on and head out to run a
marathon. As you are running you
think back to when you first
become a triathlete, and hoe the
sport has grown to 475,000 USAT
triathlete in 2015. You remember
how your coach would repeat his
favorite words from gymquots.co
“Train until it hurts and then train
triathlon is a sport that dates
According to new york
times “ There’s a it’s
hard to excel in three
sports at once,
physiologists say. The
training necessary to
do your best in one
sport is likely to
counteract what is
needed to be good at
another” (Kolata 19).
Triathlons are so
challenging because
while most sports you
are spending all your
time on that sport
and are training for
that sport, in triathlon
you are focusing and
training on three
sports. Another
reason why triathlon
is so difficult is that
when you swim you
gain a bigger upper
body, while bikers
need stronger lower
bodies, and runner's
need a lot of
endurance. So a
triathlon requires you
physically fit in your
a lot of endurance.
TRI Tips
Energy gels are
Carbohydrate
gels that provide
boost of energy
and help improve
recovery for
endurance
sports
1. Let the
water clear.
The biggest mistake
triathletes make, says Scott
Berlinger, founder of Full
Throttle Endurance, is
“training too hard all the
time. We call it muddying
the water. And if you keep
the water muddy, you
won’t perform well.”
Respect your rest weeks
and, he says, “stay within
the confines of your
workout.” Yes, even when
your archrival passes you
in the park. Remember, he
may be doing speedwork,
you may be doing distance.
From Top 9 Triathlon
Training Secrets From Top
Coaches (Marty Munson 1)
2. Focus on the
process, not the
outcome
“Micro goals help you
achieve success,” says Paul
Weiss, PhD, founder of
Asphalt Green Triathlon
Club. So instead of fixating
on winning, turn your
attention to the process –
staying aero, keeping your
cadence up, getting your
nutrition right and all the
other little pieces you need
to put together to have a top
race. That keeps you in the
zone. “Achieving process
goals cumulatively results in
macro goal achievement.” In
other words, do what you
need to do and the successes
will add up.
