I was at Cedar Point
and I was debating
whether to go on the
super cool top thrill
dragster(as seen on
page 12). I thought in
my head that not a lot of
kids no about this very
cool ride. That is what
gave me the idea to
right about roller
coaster and how kids
could get the
information to convince
their parents. That is
how this hole magazine
started, the artical is on
page 12, Top Spins,
Twists, Turns, and
loops.

I am a fun loving kid with a taste for
adventure and adrenaline. Triathlon
has always been my live and was
just dying to write about it. And
when I herd that we were going to
write a magazine in class then I
knew what I was going to write as
soon as it was assigned. So it went
off trying to write a magazine. I
started trying to write about my
triathlon expenses but turned into
th ultimate triathletes training
guide, including a training schedule,
a complete diet and tips for when
training and when racing for gold.

movies of our time. It was originally
written in 1948, but later produced into a
movie. There are three books and movie
that have been produced. Each movie
makes about $970 million apiece. The
three movies that have been produced
are The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship
of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings The
Return of the King, and The Lord of the
Rings: The Two Towers. The Lord of the
Rings is a classic struggle between good
and evil. This universal theme is obvious
as Frodo seeks to destroy Evil, and Evil
seeks to destroy Frodo. There are many
pairs of characters representing good
and evil: Saruman, Gandalf, Sauron, and
Tom Bombadil.

About J. R. R. Tolkien
John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was born on 3
January 1892 in Bloemfontein in the
Orange Free State to Arthur Reuel Tolkien,
an English bank manager, and his wife
Mabel, née Suffield. The couple had left
England when Arthur was promoted to
head the Bloemfontein office of the British
bank for which he worked. Tolkien had
one sibling, his younger brother, Hilary
Arthur Reuel Tolkien, who was born on 17
February 1894.

Star Wars has been one of the most
popular movies ever since it came out. In
the movie Luke Skywalker joins forces
with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee
and two droids to save the galaxy from the
Empire's world-destroying battle station,
while also attempting to rescue Princess
Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader.
There is no wonder this movie is so
popular, just the theme is enough to
intrigue anyone. The numbers are so crazy
that about that about 90% of the US has
seen at least one of the films. Star Wars is
the second highest grossing film of all time.
A New Hope's revenue is $840 million (Not
including the other movies). There have
been new Star Wars movies released not to
long ago, "The Force Awakens" (2015),
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (2016), and
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017).
About George Lucas:
Director George Lucas was born on
May 14, 1944, in Modesto, California.
He grew up in the suburbs, which
inspired his 1973 film American
Graffiti. He studied cinematography at
the University of Southern California
and caught the eye of Francis Ford
Coppola, who helped him enter the
film business. Lucas is best known for
writing and directing Star Wars and
creating the Indiana Jones series, as
well as founding the Industrial Light &
Magic special effects company.

The Titanic was a historic ship that sailed back
in April 10, 1912. On its voyage it hit an iceberg
and started to sink leaving many people to
drown. Many years after that James Cameron,
and Jon Landau decided to make a movie about
the amazing ship. The movie is about a love
story doomed by the depths of the Atlantic
Ocean. Rose Calvert, now 101 reminiscences
her experience of the Titanic, to American
oceanic explorers, and her emotional
connection with another passenger, Jack. Jack
was an American starving artist who won a trip
home on the Ship of Dreams to a lucky hand in
poker. His luck unfortunately ran out on April
15, 1912 after colliding with an iceberg in the
northern Mid-Atlantic. The movie was released
on December 19, 1997. It was released in 3,265
theaters. The movie was a huge hit bring in a
worldwide gross of over $1.84 billion, the
highest grossing movie of all time. Titanic was
nominated for 14 oscars and won 11 of them.
The movie is also very long, it is 3 hours and 15
min long. The film budget for the movie was
200 million dollars.
About The Producer
James Francis Cameron[1] (born
August 16, 1954) is a Canadian
filmmaker, environmentalist,
explorer, and philanthropist who
lives in the United States. After
working in special effects, he found
major success after directing and
writing The Terminator (1984). Five
years later he followed up with The
Abyss (1989). He found further
critical acclaim for his use of special
effects in Terminator 2: Judgment
Day (1991). After his film True Lies
(1994), Cameron took on his biggest
film at the time, Titanic (1997),
which earned him Academy Awards
for Best Picture, Best Director and
Best Film Editing.

Kings Island
Kings Island has been giving families top
class thrills for 46 years. It’s home to some very
unique rides such as the Diamondback. The
Diamondback is the tallest and fastest roller
coaster to ever strike Kings Island. The ride
stands 230 feet at its highest point with a first
drop of 215 feet at a 74-degree angle. Riders
snake their way around 5,282 feet of track and
10 drops at speeds up to 80 mph with a
splashdown to finish off the ride.
At Kings Island there are currently 14
roller coasters and more than 50 water
attractions, including 36 water slides and many
more to come. The water slides at Kings Island
are part of an extension called Soak City. There is
a lot of variety in this park and that is ultimately
what attracts the attention the park deserves.

and Maverick.

Age Groups-There are no age limits but rides are

Pros- The rides are some of the best rides you can
find.
Cons- The lines are very long

Top Coasters- Batman, Golithoth, and Raging bull.
Food Options- Italian Food, Mexican Food and Ice
Cream & Sweets.
New Rides- Apocalypse, BATMAN, and Firebird.
Age Groups- There are no age requirements for the
park, but if there is a small child there is a height

The ticket price for Kings Island is $39.99. Kings Island is
the most practical choice if you live in Cincinnati.
Pros- The rides are great and a section of it is directed
towards younger kids.
Cons- The rides can get busy on certain days if you go.
Distance from Cincinnati- approximately 33 minutes
Top Coasters- The Diamondback, The Beast, and The
Banshee.
Food Options- Bar B-Que, Mexican and many dessert
choices.
New Rides- Mystic Timbers
Age Groups- There are no age restrictions but there is
height restrictions on the big rides. There is a kids park so
this is a good choice to go to for little kids.
