Mets
It was a warm and early Sunday morning.
The sun was shining brightly over the left
field. We got to the field and the whole
other team was there already practicing
and ready to go, and we just started
tossing. We started warming up and our
coach came by and said wow you guys are
looking tired, and we were. We had three
games the day before and the other team
only had 2 because they got a bye. The
game started very slow for our team with a
2:4 score and we were losing.
Both of our hits were so far were triples
and they both ended up scoring. We had no
more hits for the next 2 innings. The final
score ended up to be 7:4.

Panthers
The Hilliard Panthers have apparently a
very long history behind their name and
the coaches. They were created in 1997
from “a growing and thriving community.”
There idea of the name Panthers came
about due to the need for additional
opportunities for those boys that wanted to
play baseball at a higher level of difficulty
than what was offered by the recreational
league, which they were currently in. With
the rapid population exploding in Hilliard,
it was easy for some to see that more
opportunities were needed in the
community.
2019
Projections
2019 projections: Last year we won 40
games lost 13 and tied 2. This year we are
expecting to play around 65 games overall
and about 10-20 tournaments. We also got
moved up to a league called Premium, it is
a higher league than gold but lower than
national. It will much harder than last year
so we will have to step up our game. Our
coach described it as a target on our backs
like teams are coming for us and gonna
give us there all since we are 2 time mets
team tournament winners and state and
won a bunch more tournaments.

Behind
One
AMAZING
Head Coach

Head coach Pete Muehlenkamp
Head coach Pete Muehlenkamp is not head coach for just one team. Yes, Pete coaches two teams. He
coaches the Anderson Mets, and his former team the Sycamore Aviators. The Anderson Mets is
currently a 13U team, and the Aviators is a high school varsity team. Pete Muehlenkamp went to
Sycamore when he was in high school, and played baseball there. He graduated From Wisconsin
University, and started coaching his first team in 1992. His first team he coaches was the junior high
school sycamore baseball team.
Inspiration
Pete was very inspired to even start baseball because of former baseball player Pete Rose. He was
amazed on how the game was played and how it worked. As pete grew up he still played the game, and
in high school his he met his head coach Steve Imhoff. He was one of the best coaches Pete has ever
seen. Steve's amazing coaching inspired Pete
to coach when he grows up. And that's what
he did. Pete now coaches with Steve imhoff
at Sycamore High school. Steve has stayed
at Sycamore all these years and is now
coaching with a player that he used to
coach himself.

Currently, baseball season is rolling around
the corner, and teams have already started
practicing. The Sycamore aviators are
practicing but have not started the season
yet. The Anderson Mets players: Gus foley,
Nick Lewis, Parker Elliff, Brad schauer, Leo
Muhlenkamp, Bryce musto, Thomas keefe,
wes Brokamp, Andrew ehlers, Luke
laufman, and Mitchell Tamkus are soon to
be practicing. Lets see if Coach Pete
Muehlenkamp can have another fantastic
season! Hope to have a fun, but safe season!

lots of batting power.

2, Colorado Rockies
The Colorado Rockies are
one of the most
underrated teams is the
MLB, the have so much
talent with people like
Nolan Arenado, Trevor
Story and Charlie
Blackmon. They also
have lots of talent while
fielding and pitching.

Oakland Athletics
THe Oakland Athletics are
very underrated, they have
people on their team like
Khris Davis and Matt
Chapman. Not only do they
have lots of talent they also
are the 7th highest team in
batting this year. The
oakland Athletics have also
one 9 MLB world series .

Tampa Bay Rays
The Tampa Bay Rays are
very underrated., they have
very good pitick=hing with
people like Blake Snell,
Jose Alvarado and Hunter
Wood. The Tampa Bay Rays
also have a pretty good
infield with people like Matt
Duffy, Ji-man Choi and Willy
Adams.

St Louis Cardinals
The St Louis Cardinals have lots
of talent all around, in the infield,
outfield pitching hitting and
fielding. They are really good
with people like Paul
Goldschmidt, Matt Carpenter,
Yadier Molina Miles Mikolas.
They also have one of the best
first basemen with Paul
Goldschmidt who was a 6 time all
star.

Conclusion
In the MLB their are some really good teams but
there are also some really underrated teams that
could be really good., but just have not had their
one season to shine and really show off how good
they actually are but just have not been noticed off
how good they actually are, and these are the
teams that could really be good this year,

5, Kyle Tucker, Kyle Tucker is a
outfielder on the Triple A team for the Houston
Astros, Kyle Tucker has had back to back 20
homerun and 20 steal seasons. There is no debt
that you will see him in the MLB in the next few
years.

4, Eloy Jimenez, Eloy Jimenez
is a outfielder for the Detroit White sox, Double
and Triple A team’s. Last year he played on split
years on the double and triple A teams and had a
batting average of 331. He not only can hit but is
also a good outfielder.

3, Danny Jansen, Danny Jansen
is a Catcher for the Triple A Blue Jays. Danny
Jansen is a all around good player who had to
fight off a injury to make his debt. He is also a
good catcher.

2, Josh James, Josh James is a right
handed pitcher for the Triple A Houston Astros. He
pitched his way all the way from the Double A team
all the way to his first start, he pitched well enough to
possibly get in the pitching rotation.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr is a 3rd baseman for the
Blue Jays Triple A team. He was able to reach
Triple A at a age of 19. He is a amazing batter

Cincinnati Mets. We
love baseball. All three
of us have been
playing together for 4
years. We all have
been playing baseball

could. It is our favorite

I, Leo Muehlenkamp
fell in love in baseball
just watching the
Cincinnati Reds on
TV. My dad has been
the varsity head coach
for many different high

playing baseball as a

was very little, and has
