wife on Live TV,<br />
and travelling the<br />
world in pursuit of<br />
bizarre stories.<br />

holiday almost seems a waste of time<br />
sometimes.<br />
“My wife Debbie, and the children<br />
(Jett 16, Indiana 12) and I, try to<br />
get away at the end of the year on a<br />
family holiday. Usually overseas. But<br />
it’s strange, because we sometimes<br />
question the worth of it. After all we<br />
have beaches, restaurants, waterways,<br />
cinemas, hiking trails and everything<br />
else you enjoy on a holiday… all within<br />
five minutes of our front door.”<br />
The family had a boat on <strong>Pittwater</strong> for<br />
a while; kayaks are next on the shopping<br />
list in the coming months. And Brady is<br />
happiest just pottering locally: “Coffee<br />
on a Saturday morning in Mona Vale,<br />
shopping and takeaway for dinner.<br />
Simple pleasures in a lovely community.”<br />
But then when you work in television,<br />
the sanctuary of simple pleasures and<br />
a quiet community is perhaps just what<br />
you need:<br />
“It’s a hectic schedule” Brady agrees,<br />
“working against the clock to the<br />
