Revive Joinery is a hand crafted furniture &
fixtures shop based in Lewes, East Sussex.
Run by Sussex born friends, Ed Gunter, Jon
Neal and Chris Scott-Smith, sustainability
plays a huge role in each of our creations.
We formed our business with the sole
purpose of turning sustainable materials into
high-end unique furniture for your home.
As you may have guessed from the name,
sustainability and reclamation are at the core
of our business ethos.
With this in mind, we utilise a number of
different mixed-materials to design and
create beautifully handmade pieces.

OUR PEOPLE
OUR ETHOS
Sustainability plays a huge
role in the design of each
creation. Even before a hand
is laid upon a saw or planer,
we visit our trusted arborists
and sawmills for sustainable
timber to set each project
apart.
This way each customer will
be safe in the knowledge
that their furniture is not
only a piece of quality
craftsmanship, but also
helped play an important role
in British reforestation and
arboriculture.
Originally formed by founder Ed
Gunter in 2013, Revive Joinery
has evolved into an independent
furniture business based around
the core principles of sustainable
and reclaimation.
Jon Neal joined Revive in 2014 and
immediately it was obvious that it
was time to kick it up a gear with
bigger and better ideas.
In 2018 our team grew with the
addition of Chris Scott-Smith who
brings a wealth of skill and passion
to the Revive team.
OUR HISTORY
Between us, we’ve had quite a
few adventures; from leading
troops in the British Armed Forces,
walking the length of the UK solo
for charity, being at the epicentre
of running the Paralympic closing
ceremony or delivering multimillion
pound digital projects. We
can safely say that none of them
are quite like this adventure.

THE PROCESS
FINDING YOU,
IN EVERY DETAIL
We pride ourselves on involving our customers throughout
the entire process; from the initial concept, all the way
through to the chosen legs and finish. By doing so, our
customers feel a real sense of ownership with their creation
therefore ensuring the product is exactly what was invisaged.
Working with timbers is an extremely tactile job, however
not so much as living with your purchase every day. For this
reason, we encourage our clients to be involved throughout
the process and we welcome our customers to view the
progress of the build and to meet us if they can.
We truly believe that a lasting personal relationship between
the customer and maker is one of the huge benefits of low
volume hand crafted furniture.

Fully Supported Design Process
From sketches to 3D renders, we work closely
with our clients to create a design that is fully
tailored to their needs.
Sourcing Only The Finest Materials
Working closely with timbers all day long
means we refuse to handle anything that isn’t
the best quality kiln dried British slabs.
Production
All our furniture is created in our Sussex
based workshop by our team of passionate
British craftsmen.
Finishes
We have a range of finishes available,
however all utilise Osmo Poly Oil to provide a
high-end, food safe and usable surface.

THE TIMBERS
Transforming Spaces
Through Innovative Design
All our designs are built from wood that
comes from sustainable sources. This totally
eliminates the need for cutting down fresh
new trees, which saves both money and more
importantly, the environment.
A FEW OF OUR
FAVOURITES
We recently worked out the impact of our
own creations, from ‘Forest 2 Table’ we call it.
Our average is 320 miles from source, to saw
mill, to workshop to our customers house.
A mass produced item from a large retailer
imported from normally either Indonesia or
China is, as the crow flies, 7500 miles!

THE RIVER
TABLE RANGE
Nature is a fantastic source of inspiration for our
tables, enhanced through either resin or glass.
Although resin can provide a great “depth” to
the table, the glass option is crisp, clean and
extremely elegant.
Furniture Designed To Enhance
Your Home, Business or Even Boat!
Designed to look as if they have a river running
through the centre, these stunning tables can be
customised to any size and have any colour down
the middle.
We think you will agree these tables can be made
to suit modern and contemporary spaces. Each
piece is designed to be functional and durable while
making a bold visual statement and is finished with
meticulous detail.
Creativity Guaranteed
Hand picking the slabs ourselves
allows us to find boards which
make the most interesting and
“natural” of rivers.
Where possible, we even include
bark from the slabs themselves -
locked in time forever within the
flow of the resin.

The Shoreline Range by Revive Joinery – a blend of
beautiful British timber and complimentary modern
mixed materials.
This collection features slabs that flow and bend like the
ruggest coasts around the world. We lock these in time
with a range of coloured or clear resins, complimented
by a striking frame design.

THE GLACIER
RANGE
For all our River and Glacier tables, we use a resin from the market leading
Canadian manufacturer Ecopoxy. We’ve chosen this resin due to their
commitment to moving towards 100% bio content resins.
The resin itself features no toxic organic compounds or heavy metals and
boasts both low VOC or odour - something we can really get behind!

Welcome to the Glacier Range by Revive Joinery
which features sustainable hardwood slabs,
locked in time through the use of smoked and
clear resin.
The unique style can be adapted and tailored to
meet each customer’s requirements, meaning no
two pieces will ever be the same.
Whether it’s boards hit by
lightening, World War II bomb
shrapnel or shotgun shot during
family hunts - our slabs are the
definition of unique.
We take these amazing features
and champion them for what they
are; great conversation starters.
