<strong>2018</strong>-<strong>2019</strong><br />

Moved up to 174 lbs and continued to excel, winning 22 matches during the season.<br />

Finished with a 4-1 record in Centennial Conference Duals.<br />

2017-<strong>2018</strong><br />

Alec stepped into the starting line-up at 165 lbs and won 20 matches in his sophomore<br />

season. He placed 5th at the Star City Open and the Jim Crytzer Memorial<br />

Invite and took 7th at ONU.<br />

SOPHOMORES<br />

THE CLASS OF 2021<br />

2016-2017<br />

Alec competed in 21 matches, including 10 dual meets during his first year as a<br />

General. He finished the season with eight wins and placed 5th at the Jim Crytzer<br />

Invite.<br />

BEFORE W&L<br />

Alec was a PIAA State Qualifier and posted at 39-13 as a senior. He was selected Second<br />

Team All-Chester County and Honorable Mention All-Area. He finished with<br />

a 96-50 career varsity record.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Alec is the son of David and Nancy Horne. His younger brother, Brett, also wrestled<br />

in high school. Alec is studying Economics.<br />

ALEC HORNE<br />

174 DOWNINGTOWN EAST HS, CHESTER SPRINGS, PA<br />

<strong>2018</strong>-<strong>2019</strong><br />

Andrew moved up to 174 lbs and wrestled to a winning record, finishing with a 12-10 record.<br />

Finalist at the Star City Open and finished in 5th place at the Futures Mideast Tournament.<br />

2017-<strong>2018</strong><br />

Andrew showed marked improvement in his second year, winning 8 matches and finishing<br />

with an even 8-8 record. Reached the finals at the Jim Crytzer Memorial Invite.<br />

2015-2016<br />

Andrew competed in 16 matches, including a 2-4 record in dual meets during his first season.<br />

BEFORE W&L<br />

Andrew was a State Qualifier and team captain for the Westminster School in Atlanta, GA. He<br />

also earned 4 varsity letters in Cross Country and 2 in Track.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Andrew is the son of Patrick and Margaret Taylor. Andrew has two brothers, Daniel & Michael,<br />

and two sisters, Margot and Katherine. Andrew is majoring in Physics-Engineering.<br />

<strong>2018</strong>-<strong>2019</strong><br />

Earned 18 pins, re-setting his single season pin record. 28-14 season record. Placed<br />

6th at the Southeast Regional and 4th in the Centennial Conference. Won the Jim<br />

Crytzer Tournament and placed at W&J (3rd), Star City (2nd), and ONU (4th).<br />

Recognized as a NWCA Academic All-American.<br />

2017-<strong>2018</strong><br />

In his first season Bryce broke the W&L record for falls in a season- he won 13<br />

of his 17 matches by fall. Bryce won his first college tournament, the Jim Crytzer<br />

Memorial Invite. He also was a Centennial Conference finalist and placed 6th at<br />

the NCAA Southeast Regional. Recognized as a NWCA Academic All-American.<br />

BEFORE W&L<br />

Bryce was a 4x State Qualifier and 3x State Placer, including a runner-up finish as<br />

a junior. He helped lead Camden Country High School to three consecutive state<br />

team championships.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

The son of David and Heather Crew, Bryce has a younger brother, Tyler, who will<br />

be attending and wrestling at NYU next fall. Bryce is majoring in BioChemistry<br />

and is on the health professions track.<br />
