R Panhellenic Exec Board R Panhellenic Executive Board The Texas Christian University Panhellenic Association Executive Board is comprised of eight women from various chapters in TCU’s Panhellenic Community. Each woman is elected for a specific position that benefits the entirety of the Panhellenic Community. The Executive Board holds weekly Panhellenic Council meetings with a delegate and associate delegate from each of our 13 chapters. These meetings are held in order to collaborate on matters such as upcoming events, recognizing chapter accomplishments, and integrating Panhellenic with the larger Greek Community and TCU as a whole. Lastly, the Executive Board serves as the recruitment team for formal recruitment. 14
Panhellenic Creed R R We, as Undergraduate Members of women’s fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities. We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenant by which we strive to live. Panhellenic Council Panhellenic Delegates The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), founded in 1902, is the umbrella organization for 26 inter/national women’s fraternities and sororities, 13 of which are chartered at TCU. Each chapter is autonomous as a social, Greek-letter society of college women and alumnae. Members are represented on more than 600 college and university campuses and in more than 5,300 alumnae associations throughout the United States and Canada, making up more than 3 million sorority women in the world. When you join one of the thirteen NPC sororities at TCU, you also become a member of the TCU Panhellenic Association. Each chapter then elects a delegate and associate delegate to sit on the Panhellenic Council with the Panhellenic Executive Board. The TCU Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body of the TCU Panhellenic Association, organizing activities of mutual concern and interest to all the sororities on campus. 15
