The Mother's Day Soirée is the<br />
only event in Houston that honors<br />
mothers from diverse backgrounds<br />
and occupations, who also give<br />
back to our community. It was<br />
my honor to be nominated five<br />
years ago and walk the runway<br />
with my then 2-year old daughter.<br />
The Soirée continues to grow<br />
every year, and I believe it is a<br />
reflection of the need for events<br />
that highlight and honor Houston’s<br />
great diversity. A woman's<br />
accomplishments can often times<br />
be overlooked, but this event<br />
strives to recognize and celebrate<br />
the wonderful mothers in our<br />
community who truly "do it all."<br />

I’m honored to have been a part of the International Mothers<br />
Day Soirée since its beginning. I have seen so many wonderful,<br />
deserving mothers recognized for their contributions to Houston<br />
and beyond, and I’ve made invaluable friendships along the way.<br />
Every year I’m amazed at the accomplishments of the Honorees,<br />
not just as professionals, but as mothers. They truly make me<br />
proud to be a part of the Soirée and to be a woman in Houston.<br />
