Dr. Sheekha Sethi Khan<br />
Dr. Sheekha Sethi is a therapeutic<br />
optometrist specializing in comprehensive<br />
eye health examinations, eyeglasses and<br />
contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment,<br />
and co-management of laser vision correction and<br />
cataracts. She received her Doctor of Optometry<br />
degree from the New England College of Optometry<br />
in Boston, MA.<br />
Her passion for fashion is fulfilled by the retail<br />
aspect of owning her own practice and having the<br />
opportunity to travel to places like Milan to hand pick<br />
the highest quality in eyewear for her patients. When<br />
she’s away from the office, Dr. Sethi enjoys spending<br />
time with her husband and baby girl as they explore<br />
Houston.<br />

As a child in Algeria, Fadila witnessed<br />
first-hand the injustices against people<br />
belonging to marginalized communities,<br />
and became devoted to giving back. In<br />
her role as Ambassador for Nomad Two Worlds<br />
Foundation, Fadila is committed to developing<br />
and expanding the Foundation globally through<br />
teamwork and community engagement.<br />
She supports BICONA Foundation which assists<br />
native American Indians living under horrid<br />
conditions on many reservations, and is a Founding<br />
Member of the Translational Research Initiative at<br />
the Houston Methodist Research Institute. Fadila is<br />
also a member of the Houston Methodist President's<br />
Leadership Council and DeBakey Heart & Vascular<br />
Center Council.<br />
Fadila graduated medical school in 1999, and worked<br />
as a family doctor. She moved to the US and married<br />
Pal Kibsgaard in 2004. The couple had twin girls in<br />
2008.<br />
