METIS Gallery will be presenting the works of French-Belgian artist Olivia Lerolle on Thursday,<br />
June 20, from 7pm onwards.<br />
Lerolle’s works were first inspired by Rock ’n’ Roll and then later evolved to encapsulate<br />
femininity, the latter of which will be portrayed in this exhibition. <strong>The</strong> artists has been drawn to<br />
this theme in order to express the beauty, elegance, and radiance that is inherent in each woman.<br />
<strong>The</strong> French artist paints and captures her art through photos to achieve the pure result. As a<br />
finishing touch, she prints her works on plexiglass and repaints certain details to create a third<br />
dimension that looks almost invisible yet creates an optical depth depending on the light of day.<br />
