The sultry, sunny days of summer are upon us!<br />
Once the spring snowstorms stop and the pasque flowers start<br />
popping up, we South Dakotans love to shake off our cabin fever<br />
and celebrate our amazing Black Hills with… festivals! Are you<br />
a nature lover and just want to #getoutside? Maybe music is<br />
what really makes you tick. Or perhaps you are just looking for<br />
a cold drink and some good conversation. With all the food,<br />
fun and fitness festivals, it can be easy to miss out on hidden<br />
gems. Here are a few of Mélange’s “off the beaten path” picks<br />
that you should definitely put on your summer calendar.<br />
1. Black Hills Quilt Show, June 6-8 @ Rushmore Plaza Civic<br />
Center. With over 400 competition quilts, various quilt displays,<br />
vendors, and a silent auction to support Hospice of the Black Hills,<br />

2. Find Your Park Festival, June 8 @ Main Street Square.<br />
Are you looking for a park? We have a hunch you might be<br />
