Even though we are fac<strong>in</strong>g these problems, our country is work<strong>in</strong>g on fix<strong>in</strong>g<br />
them by <strong>in</strong>troduc<strong>in</strong>g projects which are based on collect<strong>in</strong>g funds for poor<br />
children, <strong>in</strong>vest<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> their future:<br />
• The “Save the Children” Association managed to raise record-break<strong>in</strong>g funds<br />
for programs that support the education offered to children <strong>in</strong> <strong>Romania</strong>.<br />
• The School-after-School Program (SAS) is a complementary program to the<br />
compulsory school curriculum that offers formal and non-formal learn<strong>in</strong>g<br />
opportunities
