COMMITTEE MISSION The Business Leaders Breakfast unites people from the design profession and the business community to discuss contemporary workplace issues and to receive insights and inspiration from prominent business leaders. It is the region’s premier networking and promotional event for professionals in interior design, architecture, construction, engineering, real estate and furniture industries, as well as their clients. EVENT DESCRIPTION: The BLB is a yearly breakfast event that occurs every spring in the Boston area. It is accompanied with an Honoree Reception the night before to celebrate the particular influential person within the community that will be recognized at the breakfast. The breakfast highlight is an enthusiastic speaker. The speaker engages people and allows them to take a break from their daily grind and get inspired by a specific topic, a different way of thinking or current trending issues. It is a great social event to connect with peers and create energy in the New England <strong>IIDA</strong> community. 9
