COMMITTEE MISSION
To promote what firms and interior designers are doing
at a greater level. Feature more educational resources
for our members including CEUs and event database.
Collaborate at a higher level with other committees so
that members can hear their stories and what they’ve
been working on.
HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
The Communications Committee is the web that
ties all of the committees together and shares their
info with our members. We are constantly working
to improve our reach and utilize the best methods
of communication. This year was momentous for us
with the launch of the new website. This allowed
us to create one platform for all of our databases
so that we can be more efficient as an organization
and have a stronger influence on our community.
HOW HAS YOUR COMMITTEE HELPED TO
EDUCATE OUR IIDA NE COMMUNITY?
Our committee helps to educate IIDA NE community
through our e-mail newsletters and social media
platforms. We are the voice for many committees. The
Wire newsletter features relevant articles on projects/
designers in our community as well as more in depth
info on events and professional development courses.
