Sunsia, 7 years! Sunsia comes from a poor family in rural <strong>Thailand</strong>
We began in 1990 with a small group of Buddhist nuns working in an impoverished area of <strong>Thailand</strong>. We established a safe home and provided skill training for 30 orphan girls ages 12 to 15. These girls had little or no hope for education or a bright future. Over the past 28 years, we have helped over 3000 young girls by giving them a comfortable home to live, loving care and attention, quality education and the hope for a better future. Today the organization has grown to be Dhammajarinee Witthaya School with over 1061 students from kindergarden to grade 12 .
