And something a little different, if you are in Tauranga at Labour Weekend, keep an eye out for<br />
Minis. Tauranga is holding the Mini Nationals "60 yrs of the Mini'.<br />
CNI Branch Gossip<br />
Les & Helen spent 28 days of April/May in the US travelling Route 66.<br />
Flying into Chicago we were immediately at the start of the route. We travelled 2860 miles in a<br />
new Mustang convertible & had a wonderful time. Everything is massive, the Grand Canyon, the<br />
Petrified Forest, a Meteor Crater, even collections of all sorts, are huge & amazing to see. The car<br />
collections are stunning, heaps of petrol bowsers line the old road, but the most bizarre collection<br />
was that of guns. The guy had over 12,000 firearms & many thousands of gun related items.<br />
Davis had always said "I want to be buried with my guns" so the State allowed him (& his wife) to<br />
be entombed in the Museum. Weird. Fabulous time & would recommend it.<br />
