organization created by artists, for artists, and for the enrichment<br />
of the Northeast Georgia community through exhibition, education<br />
and engagement.<br />
Located in historic downtown Gainesville, the “ ” is a 501 (c)(3) non<br />
profit, sustained by the generosity of its membership and the<br />
community. Founded in 1946, the center has grown into a wellrespected<br />
arts organization known for commitment to working<br />
artists, exceptional visual arts programming and educational<br />
opportunities for the entire family.<br />
In keeping with its mission, “Bringing visual arts to life, and to the life<br />
of the community” the Quinlan hosts up to 20 major solo and group<br />
exhibitions each year, advanced workshops with nationally and<br />
internationally acclaimed artists, classes in all media for adults and<br />
children and summer art camps.<br />
