UNIFORM GUIDE
<strong>Uniform</strong><br />
At <strong>Studley</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>, we believe that our uniform is an<br />
important part of our tradition and we encourage students to<br />
wear their uniform with pride.<br />
Blazer<br />
<strong>Studley</strong> maroon, with school badge on pocket. Single-breasted, two-button blazer.<br />
Shirt<br />
Plain white long or short-sleeved shirt, buttoned to the neck. Must be tucked in at all<br />
times.<br />
Tie<br />
Year 7 - 10<br />
Official <strong>Studley</strong> school tie, with school crest pattern. Ties should not be tucked into<br />
shirts.<br />
Year 11<br />
Official <strong>Studley</strong> school tie, with single school crest. Ties should not be tucked into<br />
shirts.<br />
Jumper<br />
Plain black v-neck jumper.<br />
Trousers<br />
Plain black full length trousers. Over-tapered, skinny, jeggings, leggings or flared<br />
trousers are not allowed.<br />
Outdoor Coat<br />
Plain colour, no large motifs or logos. Hoodies are not permitted in school.<br />
Socks<br />
Plain black, grey or white only.<br />
Shoes<br />
Plain black only, no logos or motifs. suede, canvas, trainer or boot style is not<br />
permitted.<br />
P.E Kit<br />
• Black / white polo shirt with school badge.<br />
• Black / white skort with school badge (girls)<br />

Jewellery<br />
In the interests of health and safety, the wearing of jewellery is not permitted apart<br />
from single studs or sleepers in the lobe of either ear. Any other visible piercings are<br />
not permitted.<br />
Make-up<br />
Make-up should be minimal and discrete, only clear nail varnish should be worn.<br />
Hair<br />
Hair must be of natural colour and of reasonable length. Shaven heads are not<br />
permitted.<br />
Tattoos<br />
Tattoos are not permitted.<br />

A school uniform encourages pupils to dress smartly and take pride in their appearance. Wearing a uniform means that pupils don’t<br />
have to worry about peer pressure when it comes to their clothes. When everyone is dressed the same, worrying about what you<br />
look like isn’t so important.<br />
