John Pearson passed away on
the farm that he loved so dearly
near Donalda,
Alta. on Thurs.
July 11, 2019 doing
what he knew best
living his life as a
farmer.
He was on his
way to fix the
lawn mower.
The memories
of John will be
cherished by his Pearson
wife of 40 years
Jeanne; son Mark
of Calgary; daughter Kim
(Stephen Byrne) of Vancouver;
brother Dave (Marg) of
Camrose; nephews Ryan
(Aryon) and Jim (Fran); his
Aunt Shirley Soenen of
Edmonton; and numerous other
relatives and friends.
John was predeceased by his
parents Doris and Oscar who
Wilson touched many lives

Heaven has taken
another great one.
Eldon was born in
Craigmyle, Alta. and
raised in the Victor
area.
Eldon was a kind,
gentle soul and will
be missed for many
things: his contagious
laugh, patience, and Wilson
his steady hand.
Eldon loved music,
a good party and his large
loving family. He touched many
lives and will be missed by all.
Eldon is survived by his
loving wife of 61 years, Vi;
Celebration of life planned for July 26
Joy Baltimore passed
away peacefully at the
Rosehaven Care Centre
in Camrose, Alta. on
June 25, 2019 at the age of
87 years.
Joy is survived by her
children; Bryon (Linda),
Darrel (Mary Ann), Judy
Ireland (Terry), Doug
(Lisa); grandchildren:
Jenice
Fukushima
(David), David
Baltimore
(Meghann),
Katelyn Van
Ouwerkerk
(Ryan), Alexis
Sickler (Josh),
Brittany
Baltimore, Nicole
Ireland, Kyle
Baltimore and
Danielle Easton;
and great-grandchildren:
Leah,
Emma, Blake
Fukushima, Oliver
and Everett Van
Ouwerkerk and
Brady and Ben
Sickler as well as
numerous relatives
and friends.
A Celebration of
Joy’s life will be held
on Fri. July 26, 2019
at Stettler Funeral

family he nurtured and the
contributions he made to
his community.
John was a man devoted
to his family.
He was a self-made
farmer who took over the
family farm at the young
age of 17 after his father
passed away.
Over 54 years, he dedicated
his life to his passion
for sustaining the family
farm.
He was acknowledged, along
with his family, in 1993 with the
Edmonton Northlands Farm
Family Award after being nominated
by the Donalda and
District Agricultural Society.
His participation on
numerous boards, non-profit
organizations and the Donalda
and District Agricultural
Children: Deb (Myles) Smith,
Kevin (Judy) Wilson, Laura
(David) Schnurer and Wanda
(Marvin) Molzan as
well as his 13 grandchildren:
Josh, Derek
(Monica), Natasha
(Dustin), Tyrel
(Leslee), Jenna
(Logan), Michael
(Ashley), Ryan
(Lauren), Miranda
(Sean), Clark (Ashley),
Kyle (Janelle), Kerry
(Brittany), Jeremy
(Ashley), and Trevor
(Katie); and his 19
great-grandchildren: Oakland,
Tylee, Kenlee, Eldon, Remi,
Georgia, Aiden, Ruby, Shelby,

love of service to the
community.
This complemented his
decades of involvement with the
Alberta Wheat Pool and the
County of Stettler.
He was known as ‘Big John’
with the biggest heart.
He is loved dearly by those
who had the privilege to know
him and will be missed
immensely.
John’s family is very grateful
for everyone’s kindness and support
during this time.
The memorial service is being
held at the Donalda Community
Hall in Donalda, Alta. on Thurs.
July 18 at 11 a.m.
