Our Story 

Emory & Stephanie Oldaker are passionate about many things, but it wasn't until 

October 2018 when two of their passions came together to create Adoration Candles. 

First, they had always had the desire of owning a business they could build together with 

their children. They have owned several businesses in the past, but at the time, their 

children were too young to understand what it took to build a business from the ground 

up and have the ability to participate in that process. 

Secondly, they have always enjoyed scented candles (who doesn't) and have used 

them for decades from many different companies. So, together this husband and wife 

team made a commitment to launch a new business centered around a unique, high 

quality candle line not just for their family and friends, but for candle lovers anywhere 

and everywhere. Thus, Adoration Candles was born! 

Emory & Stephanie never imagined one evening while having dinner that an idea to 

make a candle would become a national business in such a short period of time. They 

have customers from all over the United States, launched a charity candle program 

and now offer a wholesale program for retailers.

Policies & Guidelines 

We want to make the Adoration Candles Wholesale Program for Retailers as easy as 

possible for everyone involved. Our policies are pretty simple and straightforward. 

PERMITTED RETAILERS 

Adoration Candles may be sold in gift shops, boutiques, florists, hospitals, churches and 

retail stores. Every wholesale application is reviewed in detail to ensure the integrity and 

character of Adoration Candles is never jeopardized. 

EXCLUSIVITY 

We review every potential client to ensure territories are never over saturated but also 

ensure our products are easily accessible to consumers. We reserve the right to protect 

zip codes and/or areas with active retail partners. Adoration Candles cannot guarantee 

territory protection but will research proximity to existing customers with each new 

inquiry to the best of our ability. As a general rule, we will allow ONE retailer for every 

5,000 residents within a zip code. For example, if a zip code has 15,000 residents, we will 

only permit up to THREE retailers within that zip code. 

FREE ADVERTISING 

As an added bonus for becoming one of our retailers, and at NO COST to you, we will 

include your business name and location on our website to help assist consumers where 

they can purchase Adoration Candles. 

ORDER REQUIREMENTS 

There is a $200.00 Minimum Opening Order required to become a retailer of Adoration 

Candles. Afterwards, there is NO MINIMUM requirement for reorders. 

REMAINING ACTIVE 

To remain active and territories to be protected, an order must be placed at least once 

every 3 months with a minimum total for the year of $3,000.00. Partners with no account 

activity over a 3-month period are subject to review and may be suspended or closed. 

We also reserve the right to sell to another retail partner if terms are not met. 

PROCESSING, SHIPPING & DELIVERY 

Current processing time before your order ships is 5-7 business days. If a “RUSH” order is 

required, a $50.00 Rush Fee will be added. A Shipping or Delivery fee will be added to 

your order based on weight and location. There may be times we personally deliver 

your order rather than using UPS or the USPS. 

RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS 

We do not accept returns. We will refund or replace a product that is defective or 

broken in transit. Requests for replacement must be sent via email to 

support@AdorationCandles.com within 7 days of delivery. Photos of the damaged 

materials may be requested for a refund or replacement to be processed.

16 oz Jars 

When we first embarked on a mission to create a high-quality line of candles, we knew it 

needed to be made with the best possible ingredients. Our attention was first directed 

towards soy wax as it has always been the best compared to paraffin and beeswax. 

Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum, coal or oil shale and is not sustainable or 

environmentally friendly. Beeswax doesn't carry scent well, so soy wax was a better 

alternative that burned the cleanest and was the most sustainable…or so we thought! 

After months of research, we decided on coconut wax and we LOVE it! Coconut wax is 

made by using the hydrogenation process where coconut oil is transformed into wax. It's 

easier to work with (great for us because we hand-pour EVERY SINGLE candle) and it 

also has wonderful benefits for consumers, as well. Here's five reasons why coconut wax 

candles are much better than soy candles. 

Here's why: 

❖ Coconut wax is Vegan 

❖ Coconut wax burns cleaner and slower than soy which means you will have a longer 

lasting candle 

❖ Coconut wax is made from a sustainable, easily renewable crop (soy is usually 

derived from GMO soy) 

❖ Coconut wax throws scent better than soy 

❖ Coconut wax works well with essential oils (we never use synthetic fragrance oils) 

Our coconut wax scented candles are individually hand-poured and showcased in 

both black or white 16 oz Jars with your choice of hammered copper or wood lids.

Melt Cups 

We love our Melt Cups and our customers do too! In addition to burning candles, we 

also enjoy burning melts! However, we didn't enjoy having to touch the wax or 

constantly having to clean the wax melt warmer. So we searched and searched other 

options and ended up being inspired by a company in Europe that offered a "spa cup" 

candle which was a small container of wax that you could place directly on top of a 

candle warmer. 

After researching different manufacturers, we were finally able to find a safe, polycarbonate 

container that would hold 2 oz. of our amazing coconut wax. And just like in 

Europe, you can set our Melt Cups directly on top of a UL-approved candle warmer 

and allow the wax to melt inside the cup. You'll never have to touch the wax or clean 

your melt warmer again. That's why we call them "no mess, no fuss" Melt Cups. 

It's estimated that our 16 oz. Jar Candles will burn 60-80 hours if you properly maintain 

your wicks and follow the suggested burn times. As for our Melt Cups, we estimate that 

one Melt Cup will maintain its fragrance for approximately 2 weeks. Some of our 

customers tell us their Melt Cups still smell brand new after 3 weeks! Imagine how much 

money customers save with Adoration Candles!
