CHARCOAL FIRES ONLY: Limited to fire rings.
MESSAGES are posted on the board in the Reservation and
Information Building.
HELMETS must be worn when riding bicycles, motorcycles, in-line
skates, skateboards and mopeds.
PETS must be registered with the Reservation Office. Proof of
vaccination is required. They must be kept on a leash and are not
permitted in any NRC structure or lodging unit.
ONE CAMPER and one dining or sleeping tent per site.
CLEANING: Campsites will be cleaned by campers prior to
check-out time.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY of lodging units is two people per
bedroom (except log cabins). Maximum occupancy of log cabins is
six people.
SPEED LIMITS are 15 m.p.h. in camping, lodging and recreation
areas. Be slow. Be safe.
SPONSORSHIP: Authorized sponsors must be on board with their
guests at all times and are responsible for their family members and
guests. Damages and loss resulting from the actions of guests are
the responsibility of the sponsor. Maximum of ten civilian guests per
sponsor.
VEHICLE WASHING is permitted only at the boat wash area.
NO EXTERNAL washers, dryers or refrigerators are permitted.
PERMANENT PLANTINGS are not permitted. For your safety, dig
permits are required for any soil disturbances.
PERMANENT DECKS, porches or other structures are prohibited.
Temporary decks require written permission of the Manager.
GARBAGE AND TRASH must be bagged, tied and placed in the
dumpsters.
BOAT OWNERS must check in at the Marina and boats will be
parked in designated storage areas, not at campsites or lodging
units.
MAIL cannot be accepted. Direct mail to General Delivery, Solomons,
MD 20688.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, including batteries, gray water, oil, etc.
must be handled in compliance with state and federal regulations. Do
not dump them on the ground or abandon them at the NRC facilites.
Violators will be subject to state and/or federal laws.
PARKING is limited to two vehicles per campsite or lodging unit and
