BLOOM
Dig out your magnifying lens and head to Hever
Castle this month to take a closer look into the
world of flowers. An RHS tutor will visit the
castle for a one day course on flowers, pollination
and fertilisation. The course will be on Friday 30
August and is perfect for those looking to expand
their horticultural horizons. hevercastle.co.uk
Visit Kempton Park Racecourse this month for a real hidden gem
of an Antiques Fair. Often gracing the pages of elite blogs and
magazines, Sunbury Antiques Market at Kempton Park is a go-to
source of inspiration for many of Europe’s top design houses, film
studios and ‘London’s finest’. It’s like a hybrid mix of your favourite
vintage store, a Parisian flea market and a secret off-the-beaten-track
furniture shop, albeit with over 800 European traders stocking
antiques, collectables, vintage items, fashion and retro goods.
The gates open at 6.30am on the second and last Tuesdays of the
month with free admission and parking. sunburyantiques.com
