This past spring, St.
Joseph School Principal
Lynne Scheffler was
awarded Bishop Roger L.
Kaffer Outstanding Principal
Award from Lewis
University. Under Scheffler’s
strong spiritual and
instructional leadership,
St. Joseph School has
prospered for 19 years.
During her tenure, continuous
improvement has
been constant in the learning
environment and the
professional development
of the staff.
Scheffler offers her
learning community strong
spiritual leadership, which
has the highest student attendance
at Sunday Mass
of any school in the diocese.
She said, “Imparting
the Catholic faith to our
children will always be my
greatest accomplishment.
Winning this award just
demonstrates that my success
has always been combination
of incredible, dedicated
teachers, supportive
parents, amazing students
and a support community.
I am so proud to be a part
of such a faithful family,
school and parish.”
